- About Us
On November 5th, SureTech was one of many proud sponsors of the Princeton Arts Council's Dining by Design Dinner and Gala. The event marked the 10th year anniversary of the Arts Council's annual fall fundraiser and was in support of the ACP community education programs including their ArtReach and Arts Exchange programs for at-risk youth.
The party was a blast, but the real highlight of the night was the art. The students had a chance to show off their latest artwork, taking inspiration from the monumental installation projects of Andrew Goldsworthy, Christo, and Jeanne Caude. I can speak for SureTech as a whole when I say it was great being part of this event which supported such inspiring art programs. You can check out some of the artwork that was on display below, as well as our slideshow of the evening. Were all looking forward to see what great things theyll have in store for next years show. <CM
Art Exchange -Every Thursday night of the year, children whose families are served by HomeFront of Trenton arrive by bus to the ACPs Robeson Center for a studio art lesson and a hot meal. Arts Exchange has been run continuously since 1993 and provides a safe and nurturing environment for 15-20 elementary school students to explore their creative side.
Art Reach - Since 2003, the ACP has provided free, grant-sponsored, arts classes to local at-risk youth through partnerships with Princeton Nursery School and Princeton Young Achievers. The afterschool learning centers operated by Princeton Young Achievers become arts incubators each week when ACP artists deliver their Creative Fridays curriculum. These programs impact nearly 120 local children from grades K-5 during each week of the academic year.
